I have over 7 years experience in program management, monitoring, evaluation in the development sector. My experience cuts across designing, programming and evaluating projects and setting up robust M&E systems which redefine programming and funding approaches to Gender, Human Rights, Education, and Climate Change programs. I have honed my skills in designing results frameworks, Theory of Change, Community Development, advocacy monitoring and advanced statistical data analysis.

… I wanted the opportunity to use my recently-gained Management skills within a nonprofit organization I admire. I was missing my NGO / non-profit roots and I liked that LGT gives the opportunity to combine hard management skills with field development work.
Background:
Being from Washington, DC, I have always had an interest in impacting the world around me. I went to pursue my bachelor’s degree in International Development at American University, after which I worked for the community development non-profit Partners for Livable Communities as a program and development associate. I then received an opportunity to move to Chicago and work for Independent Publishers Group in a more marketing and communications- focused role. I stayed there for four years before deciding to move to Lisbon, Portugal and pursue my Master’s degree in Management with a focus on Social Entrepreneurship and Nonprofit Management.

LGT VP are pioneers in the social impact sector and the LGT Impact Fellowship is a very credible stepping- stone to a career in this space. I also feel strongly that I want to join a cause that I am passionate about, and contribute to a scalable and sustainable project, that will continue to deliver impact in the long-term. Harambee really is a special organisation, and I am extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to join them and contribute to their vision.
